Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounce) package of pasta-linguini,shells,bow ties,ect..cooked
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 1/2# cooked shrimp
  • 1/2# sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 (3ounce)cream cheese
  • 2 Tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 3/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 2/3 cup boiling water

Directions
  1. boil pasta as directed
  2. heat 2 Tbs. butter in a large skillet,over medium heat.add mushrooms and cook and stir until tender.transfer to a dish.
  3. in the same pan melt rest of the butter,add garlic ,stir in cheese parsley, basil and water.stir well and simmer for 5 minutes and sauce is smooth.
  4. stir in shrimp and mushrooms and heat through
  5. when heated add pasta and toss with shrimp sauce and serve
