These cookies are delicious. Good for packing in lunches for children and grandchildren.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup of peanut butter creamy style
  • 1 cup of sugar, plus extra for decorating cookies
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Directions
  1. prehead oven to 350 degrees
  2. coat two baking sheets with vegetable oil
  3. cream peanut butter, sugar, and salt with electric mixer
  4. then beat in an egg and baking soda
  5. mix well until combine
  6. mix in chips
  7. roll dough io small balls and place above one inch apart
  8. on baking sheets
  9. moist a fork and dip into sugar
  10. press on down on the balls to make a crosshatch pattern
