This is a very easy appetizer that can be served hot or cold. Very tasty and holds up well at a party. Always a favorite. Can be made ahead and stored in fridge up to 3 days. Happy Munching.

I make this in our home. I use to be PTA president for our school. Lovely lady brought these..I have been making them ever since. We would always have a savory snack and sweet. I love your addition of bacon...going to try it. WHy I love this site..Just when you think you can cook anything sometimes we get lazy with ideas. yet so simple additions..great. I suggest everyone makes this. It is wonderful. Hot or cold.I have a version posted too. Just the best! Thank you

I've made this recipe a couple of times now and it is very tasty and easy to put together. I found that I needed a 9x13 pan and even that was pretty full. The second time that I made it I added some crumbled cooked hot Italian sausage and it was an interesting addition. Great recipe! I've uploaded a photo of it in the pan as it came from the oven. I'll take another picture of it cut into squares if I make it again (and you can be sure that I will)
