How to make it

  • Make semi thick paste of gram flour, salt, red chilly powder, baking soda and water
  • Thinly slice brinjals
  • Mix 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  • Sprinkle this mixture over each slice of brinjal
  • keep for 1/2 hour
  • Then dip in paste one bye one and deep fry to brown (like pakoras)
  • Serve hot with mint or coriander dip
