How to make it

  • Thaw chicken,drain well.Sprinkle with salt,dredge in flour.Heat oil to 400 degrees.Cut chili into halves.Combine sugar,soy,mirin,green onions,ginger,garlic and chili pepper.Fry chicken until golden brown in hot oil.Immediately dip into soy sauce mixture;remove & drain.

    This sounds like a very good Hawaiian Chicken Recipe, very similar to what I use regularly. I sometimes add a tablespoon or two of a sweet Korean chili paste called Ko chu jang just to add another tasty layer that very popular here in the islands. Give it a try, you might like it too.
