Italian Appetizer Bites Recipe
An easy to make appetizer that gets you out of the kitchen while it is cooling to enjoy your guests.

Ingredients
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 ounces deli salami, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces Provolone cheese, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces deli cooked ham, thinly sliced
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 (12 ounce) jars roasted red peppers, drained

Directions
  1. Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent rolls to line bottom of prepared pan. Pinch seams together.
  3. Layer with half the salami, Provolone and ham.
  4. Beat together 6 eggs with Parmesan cheese. Pour half over ham layer.
  5. Layer in half the roasted red peppers.
  6. Layer with remaining salami, Provolone and ham.
  7. Pour remaining egg mixture over and top with remaining roasted red peppers.
  8. Top with remaining can of crescent rolls, again pinching seams to seal.
  9. Beat remaining egg and brush over top.
  10. Cover with foil.
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  12. Uncover and bake an additional 30 minutes.
  13. Remove from oven and cool 1 hour.
  14. Cut into 32 squares to serve.
