Sticky Zesty Bourbon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup bourbon
  • 1 sprig fresh tarrogan
  • 1 cup soy sauce (no sugar)
  • 1.5 tbl spoons celery salt
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 satsuma
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 pinch of chilli pepper flakes
  • 4 cloves of crushed garlic
  • 1 table spoon dark syrup / molasses
  • ¼ cup freshly grated root ginger
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6 chicken breasts

Directions
  1. Mix all the ingredients apart from the chicken in a pan on a low heat and stir for 10 minutes or until blended.
  2. Lightly slash the chicken breasts 2 or 3 times
  3. Place the chicken in a covered casorole dish and pour the bourbon sauce over
  4. Place in an oven preheated to 260c for 60 - 80 minutes, turning over half way through
  5. Chicken should be tender and sticky.
  6. Goes with anything you fancy, I like it with rice.
