How to make it

  • Strain the yogurt through cheesecloth overnight (if the yogurt is too thin) if not just mix it as is
  • Place all ingredients in a blender; then blend for a few moments.
  • Place in a serving bowl and chill.
  • Serve as a dip with Arabic (pita) bread.
  • to serve it with dill:
  • Add the chopped herbs and lemon juice to the thickened yogurt.
  • Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
