The Czar Jell-o Shooters Recipe

Ingredients

1 small package lemon flavoured Jell-O powder

1 cup beef consomme

1 cup vodka, well chilled

Sour cream (for garnish; about 1/2 cup)

Caviar (for garnish; dot on each shooter)

Directions

Pour the Jell-O powder crystals into a deep bowl.

Bring the beef consomme to a boil, then pour it over the crystals, stirring until they dissolve completely.

Pour in the cup of vodka. Stir to mix completely, and to cool down.

Pour into individual disposable plastic shooter (shot) cups, but do not overfill. You want to leave enough space for the garnishes.

Refrigerate until set firm.

Just before serving, put a dollop of sour cream on the top of each shooter, and sprinkle on some caviar. If desired, add a toothpick with a cocktail onion on the end.

NOTE: I make these with some red and some black caviar, just to keep things from getting too "boring"... :)
