How to make it

  • Cooked the rice in the microwafe as directed
  • 6 min on high 100% heat, and 20 min on medium 80 % heat let resting for 5 min
  • saute the onion in butter and evoo(extra virgin olive oil), add the cooked rice, and killed the heat, toss in the rest of ingredient , topped with toasted walnut

    I love cooking in the microwave, i thought everyone know what evoo is, its rachel ray trad mark word for extra virgin olive oil, hope this could help, sorry for the misspelling it was supposed to be killed the heat ( turn of the stove)

    Thanks! This sounds like another great recipe. I love a good rice recipe such as this with walnuts in it. Adding a few raisins might enhance the natural sweetness of the recipe. Thank you so much for posting it.
