How to make it

  • Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar and vanilla, beat well
  • Combine cocoa, flour, salt, and nuts; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended
  • Chill for one hour in fridge
  • Portion dough into one inch balls; place one inch apart on ungreased baking sheets
  • Bake in a preheated 350ยบ oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Cool baked cookies 2 minutes before removing from the baking sheet
  • Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar. Roll in powdered sugar again after cookies have completely cooled.
  • Store in a airtight container or you can freeze them for one month.
