- · 6 Cups chicken broth shopping list
- · 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- · ¼ tsp. pepper shopping list
- · ¼ tsp garlic powder shopping list
- · 2 Cups regular grits shopping list
- · 16 oz. Cheddar cubed ½” shopping list
- · ½ Cup milk shopping list
- · 4 large eggs shopping list
- · ½ cup (1 stick) butter shopping list
- · 8 oz. Grated sharp white cheddar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 4 qt. Casserole dish.
- Bring the broth, salt, pepper and garlic powder to a boil in a 2-4qt. saucepan and stir in the grits.
- Whisk until completely combined.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer until grits are thick, about 6-10 minutes.
- Stir in the cubed cheddar and milk.
- Gradually stir in the eggs and butter until fully combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with the white cheddar and bake for 35-40 minutes or until set.
