Vanilla Fudge With Pecans

VANILLA FUDGE WITH PECANS I host a large cookie exchange every Christmas and this is a recipe from the 2005 exchange. I always have everyone make an additional 3 dozen cookies for the exchange. One dozen from each participant goes to our wait staff at the restaurant we go to and two dozen goes to a local nursing home or hospice. Read more This recipe was submitted by my friend Gena. Ingredients
- 12 ounces white baking chocolate shopping list
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese shopping list
- 3 cups powdered sugar sifted shopping list
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Melt chocolate as directed on package then beat cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixture until smooth then gradually beat in sugar on low speed until well blended.
- Add melted chocolate and vanilla and mix well.
- Stir in nuts.
- Spread evenly in foiled lined square pan.
- Garnish with additional nuts and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
- Cut into squares and store in refrigerator.
