How to make it

  • CHOCOLATE LAYER
  • Beat eggs until foamy.
  • Add sugar, flour, nuts and salt.
  • Melt margarine and cocoa over low heat.
  • Add to egg mixture and blend well.
  • Spread into a greased 9x13 pan and set aside.
  • BUTTERSCOTCH LAYER
  • Cream margarine with brown sugar.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Beat until well mixed.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Spoon over chocolate layer in small blobs and spread as best as you can.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely.
  • ICING
  • Bring margarine, brown sugar and milk to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes and let cool.
  • Stir in icing sugar adding more sugar or milk if necessary to make a proper spreading consistency.
  • Spread over cooled brownies.
  • DRIZZLE
  • Melt chocolate chips and oil in top of double boiler. Drizzle randomly all over icing.
