Super easy appetizer for drop-in guests. I keep the ingredients on hand all the time, just for emergency fancy snacks. Love the flavor of apricot, but you can alter the flavor and use a whole cranberry sauce, or an orange marmalade if you want.

Ingredients
  • I wheel of Camembert cheese, 8 ounces
  • 1/4 cup of apricot preserves
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped nuts. toasted
  • a few sprigs of fresh thyme leaves

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place cheese in a shallow ovenproof serving dish.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is very soft.
  4. Remove from oven and top with preserves of choice, and pecans.
  5. Bake another 3 minutes.
  6. Top with thyme.
  7. Serve with crackers or cocktail bread slices. You know those little square ones.

This sounds so yummy... I love Camembert.. will give this a try very soon. ( must give it a trial run before the holidays just to make sure its good, right??? LOL)


Great combo - cheese and jam...love it, notcho! And it couldn't be much easier - what a great idea to have on hand for that unexpected company or quick party snack. You're the best!
