Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oil in large stock pot.
  • Wilt onions and garlic.
  • Add pepper and cook slightly to wilt but not brown.
  • Add marinara, clam juice, wine, broth, bouquet garni.
  • Simmer 20 minutes.
  • Add fish, shrimp and mussels, cook over low heat 8-10 minutes.
  • Fish out bouquet garni and discard.
  • Season soup to taste with salt and red pepper.
  • Serve with crusty bread and more chilled white wine.
  • You can break the bank and add more seafood if you desire, like cracked crab legs, crab claws, clams, etc. I want simple and fast.
