My First Chocolate Fudge Recipe
I made this fudge when I was quite young, with the assistance of my Mother of course. We did not have a candy thermometer but my Mother had an excellent eye for these things.

Ingredients
  • 4-1/2. cups granulate sugar
  • 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. Milk chocolate bar
  • 2 cups Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Note: I have added 1 cup miniature marshmallows and 1/2 cup pecans/walnuts to this recipe and it's great!
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

Directions
  1. Cook sugar, milk, and butter to soft ball stage - 234 degrees on candy thermometer, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
  3. Stir quickly and thoroughly to blend.
  4. Pour into a large lightly buttered baking pan or dish
  5. Cool then cut into squares and store in the refrigerator.

OMG.. I love to make fudge and since moving here I have a hard time... as we have so much humidity.. I am going to try this one.. It might just work! Thanks =)
