Turkey Somethin Recipe

Turkey Somethin Recipe
This dish was concocted with my leftover Turkey; I hate to throw food away, so I came up with this: my version of a sort of Turkey Tetrazzini. The kids said it was good, so...here goes!

Ingredients
  • Turkey, cooked, chopped
  • 1 can sweet peas
  • 1 can carrots
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 can cream of chicken
  • 1 jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 box Rotini
  • Bread crumbs

Directions
  1. Remove remaining meat from turkey, even thigh meat; chop into medium pieces
  2. Prepare boxed Rotini according to instructions, cutting cooking time by 5 minutes; rinse.
  3. Add turkey, rotini and all ingredients to a casserole dish
  4. Optional: add some garlic powder and pepper. Salt not necessary because the flavors from creamed soups are sufficient.
  5. Mix in some bread crumbs
  6. Top with bread crumbs
  7. Bake 20 min.

Thanks hon. Love the easy ones.

Sounds great just like all your recipes! Keep em coming!

I just might try this with chicken. Just as I started typing I saw that you mentioned chicken in "Alterations". I like creamy dishes! We Scandahoovians love hot dishes and casseroles.
