  • 8 slices white bread, cubed
  • 1 ½ lb sausage
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack (with jalapenos, if you want spicy)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp dry mustard

Directions

  2. Cube bread and place on counter to dry, approximately 1 hour. Spread in bottom of
  3. baking pan. Cook sausage and drain. Sprinkle sausage over bread. Shred cheese and
  4. sprinkle over sausage.
  5. Beat together eggs, milk and mustard, and pour over bread, sausage and cheese. Cover
  6. with aluminum foil and refrigerate overnight. Bake the following morning at 350 degrees
  7. for 30 to 45 minutes until eggs are set.
  8. Serve with fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee!

I am going to give this a try this year on Christmas morning. My kids will all be home and they always say they want nothing because they don't want to make me work, but by the time they are finished messing in the kitchen, its more work just cleaning up!!!!!
