  • Canned Mackrel
  • Cold boiled potatoes
  • fried thinly sliced onins
  • green chillies
  • salt
  • pepper
  • egg whites
  • bread powder

Directions
  1. Washed the mackrels
  2. mash them with potatoes , onions , chillies , salt and pepper
  3. make into small balls
  4. roll on egg whites and then on bread powder
  5. shallow fry

Looks very good. I make cod cakes a lot like this but with peppers instead of chilies. I like the idea of mackrel because it has more flavor.


Sounds really good - reminds me of the fish and potato croquettes my grandma used to make. I really like the addition of green chilies. Thanks for sharing.
