Eggnog Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • Cream margarine and both sugars. Add egg. Beat well
  • Add eggnog and flavorings, Beat until smooth.
  • Combine flour, soda, nutmeg. Add to eggnog mixture, mixing well ntil no dry flour remains.
  • Drop by tbsp 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake 350 degrees 10 - 12 minutes
  • Let stand on cookie sheets for 5 minutes before removing.
  • Eggnog icing:
  • beat first 4 ingredients in a small bowl, adding more sugar or eggnog if necessary until barely pourable consistency
  • Spoon into paper cone or small resealable resealable freezer bag with tiny piece snipped off corner. Drizzle icing in decorative pattern over each cookie.
