Party Pork And Pistolettes Recipe
EASY. Delicious slow-cooked Pork (Boston Butt) Roast, full of flavor, served with pistolettes (football shaped little rolls) and good mustards. Rustic. Great for parties, buffets.

Ingredients
  • ! Pork Roast, boneless Boston Butt to fit your crockpot
  • Olive oil
  • 2 packages dry Golden Onion Soup
  • 2 packages Zesty Italian Dressing mix
  • 1 Crockpot

Directions
  1. Place Pork Roast in crockpot
  2. Sprinkle with olive oil
  3. Next, sprinkle with the dry Golden Onion Soup mix
  4. Next, sprinkle with the Zesty Italian Dressing mix
  5. Cook on HIGH or LOW....the longer, the better
  6. (You home will be "smellin' good" and guests will feel welcomed!)
  7. When roast is done, remove and slice (meat will be very tender, so it doesn't matter if is falls apart)
  8. Pile meat on a a large plater, tray, or board
  9. Now is the time to "flaunt" the good mustards
  10. Bring the mustards on, use small egg dishes, small decorative cups or just "plain 'ole mustard jars"....the label will tell the story!
  11. Pile the pistolettes on a large tray or platter
  12. You are "set to go", and your guests will love you for these wonderful, wonderful little sandwiches!
  13. This party or buffet will be remembered by all
  14. NOTE: If pistolettes are unavailable, use hearty breads or buns of your choice
  15. ENJOY, and have a great time!
