Indian Martini Recipe Syrus / All my dishes

We used to make this all the time at weddings when I worked for an Indian Catering company. It's a pretty great drink.

Ingredients
  • 1 oz vodka (good quality, absolut's poor taste will shine in this drink so be cautious, grey goose works well as does stolichnaya and kettle one)
  • 1/2 oz vermouth
  • 2 oz orange juice
  • 3 strands saffron
  • 1 tsp pomegranate molasses
  • rose sugar for rim

Directions
  1. Steep the saffron in orange juice for as long as you can, the longer the better.
  2. Shake ingredients together with ice.
  3. Pour into martini glass with rose sugar on rim.
  4. Don't drink too many.
