How to make it

  • Put pork loin in pan with water to cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours; drain and transfer to slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
  • Season pork loin with salt and pepper to taste then pour blended mixture over. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.

    This was awesome!!! Was a little skeptical with lettuce going into the sauce but wow! The OJ is a great little addition too. I did greatly cut back the recipe using only about a 1.25 # pork loin so I just estimated on the sauce and I do think I shoulda used more, so next time I know. I also skipped the first step with simmering the pork and I just threw it raw into the slow cooker to save time. Can't wait to make again!!
