How to make it

  • Go fishing.
  • Preheat oven 350F
  • Stuff cavity and wrap fish with herbs.
  • Wrap in foil, sealing as best as you can using foil to hold herbs around and in the fish.
  • Bake in oven just until flaky 20-45 minutes depending on size. Trout and salmom are delicate fish and will be dry if overcooked and not very good. The fish in photo took about 40 minutes. Do adjust time acording to size of fish.
  • Remove form oven, discard herbs, remove fish from bone and serve with lemon wedges.
  • Clean up mess.
  • Go fishing.

    My husband and son has been going trout fishing the past couple weekends here in west virginia and I will be sure to try this next weekend when i cook up all the trout they catch..Thanks for the recipe...
