Choco-Nut Frozen Banana

Here's a dessert that the kids will love and is simple to prepare. It combines the great taste of chocolate, peanuts and bananas. Best of all, it's easy to make and great fun for the kids to get involved.
Ingredients
- cup (8ounces) semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 cup chopped peanuts shopping list
- 4 firm ripe bananas, peeled and cut diagonally in half. shopping list
- 8 wooden craft sticks shopping list
How to make it
- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
- Melt 1/2 cup of chips following package instructions. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons of the oil. Scrape into a shallow plate with a rim.
- Spread 1/2 the nuts on a piece of waxed paper.
- Insert a craft stick into cut end of 4 banana halves. Roll bananas in melted chocolate (use a spoon to help), then roll in chopped nuts. Place on prepared sheet.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients. Freeze at least 1 hour before serving or before placing in an airtight container and freezing up to 1 month.
