How to make it

  • Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and butter.
  • Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and nuts.
  • Spread over top of potatoes.
  • Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is golden.

    This is similar, and may be the same recipe as the Amish Sweet Potato casserole.

    If so, excellent. It is ONE OF MY FAVORITE SIDE DISH.
