Grandmothers Easy Rice Recipe

Ingredients

1 can french onion soup

1 can Uncle Ben's Converted Rice

1 can mushrooms

1 can water chestnuts(sliced)

1 tsp curry powder

1 stick oleo or butter

1 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Spray 2 quart casserole dish with cooking oil.

Put all ingredients in the dish.

Cover with aluminum foil.

Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees.

Remove from oven and stir before serving.

This recipe got used so much that the card that my grandmother gave my Mom got very faded. I reproduced the recipe for our Family Cookbook so the recipe would live on.
