Ingredients
  • 1 can corned beef
  • 1/4 cup thousand island salad dressing
  • 1- 16 oz can sauerkraut, drained
  • 1/2 pound Swiss cheese , shredded
  • 6 slices rye bread, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

Directions
  1. Place corned beef in a lightly greased 9- X 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Dot with dressing.
  3. Spread sauerkraut over top; sprinkle with cheese.
  4. Toss breadcrumbs with the butter; sprinkle over cheese.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or until bubbly.

Ah HA! Gluten! I KNEW you had to be a "regular" person who only "masquarades" as a gluten free human! :o) This sounds WONDERFUL! DH & I can have it while the kids eat their gluten free "cheesy noodles" (rice bran noodles with olive oil & parmesan!) THANK YOU!

Alterations


I usually use a smaller pan and layer all the ingredients (except the breadcrumbs) more than once then top with the breadcrumbs - I swear it it comes out tasting better.
