- 1 tbs. oil shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 2 tbs. butter or margarine shopping list
- ½ pound veal, cubed shopping list
- ½ pound beef, cubed shopping list
- ¾ pound pork, cubed shopping list
- 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 tbs. sweet paprika shopping list
- 3 lbs. sauerkraut shopping list
- 1 tbs. dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbs. caraway seeds shopping list
- 1 cup beef broth shopping list
- 1 12 oz. can beer shopping list
- 1-½ cups sour cream shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- Chopped parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Cook onions in oil until wilted. Remove, set aside.
- In pan add butter and brown meat.
- Add all ingredients but, parsley and sour cream. Return onions and heat to boiling.
- Reduce and simmer for 2 ½ hours.
- Stir in the sour cream, check seasonings. Sprinkle with parsley.
