I have 3 deer in my refrigerator. I have recipes in which to use it up. Keep checking back.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup deer pieces, cut in tiny pieces, browned
  • 1 jar (12 oz) beef gravy
  • 1 bag frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 cup bisquick
  • 3/4 cup milk

Directions
  1. heat oven to 400
  2. Heat deer and gravy in saucepan. Cook until the deer is cooked throughout. Add peas and carrots, and seasoned salt. Heat stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  3. Spread in ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  4. Stir together bisquick and milk.
  5. Pour evenly over deer mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered about 30 minutes or until light brown.

I think this has very good potential! I always have deer of some form in the freezer, so I too am looking for new ways to make it. This looks good and different. High five!
