Ingredients
  • 4 egg white
  • pinch of salt
  • 8 g vanilla
  • 70 g sugar
  • 150 g powder sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 50 mm diameter wafer
  • 250 g grated coconut

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
  2. Beat egg white with a pinch of salt, vanilla and sugar.
  3. Add slowly powder sugar and beat on.
  4. Add corn starch, lemon zest and coconut.
  5. With a help of a teaspoon place mixture on the wafers.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

This sounds Heavenly, but the measurements I'm not familiar with, I'll have to research before I make it


These are very good. They are light and fluffy. The lemon zest really gives them a nice flavor and it's very subtle. Not a traditional macaroon like I'm used to, dense and chewy... but that's okay! These are a delightful sweet treat.
