Very Easy Chicken Parisienne Recipe
Recipe from a friend. This is a very easy recipe. The result is gourmet. Great for guests....just increase for number to be served. It is most impressive, and really failproof. Serve with hot fluffy rice. Delicious.

Ingredients
  • 6 five ounce chicken breasts, skinned and boned
  • 1-10 ounce can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup fresh sauteed mushrooms
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sherry
  • Paprika

Directions
  1. In pan with butter, saute' mushrooms, sprinkling a little black pepper and white pepper
  2. Place chicken in shallow, baking casserole dish
  3. In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except paprika
  4. Pour over chicken
  5. Sprinkle generously with paprika
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, or until tender

I make one similar to this and your right.... its just great for guests... they always love it..... Great post!!!!!


I have had this recipe for a long, long time, except I use plain table white wine instead of sherry. Everyone loves it. One friend who couldn't abide mushrooms said she made it with cream of celery. I can't imagine it without mushrooms!
