Homemade Crackers

Ingredients
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 3/4 cup shortening (butter or butter flavored crisco is really good) shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Mix flour, baking powder, and shortening together as if for a pie crust.
- Add milk and cut in with a couple of knives.
- Form a ball of dough and cut that ball into 4 pieces.
- Roll out the pieces to be pretty thin.
- Then I roll it up and unroll it on a greased cookie sheet.
- cut into squares, prick each square 4 or 5 times with a fork.
- Spray the tops with the butter flavored cooking spray.
- Sprinkle lightly with sea salt.
- Bake at 375 f. until golden brown.
- Watch these very closely, its like one minute the are not done and tehn zap they are burnt!
- For special occations try using cookie cutters to make stars or moons, what ever fits the party mood.
