Crock Pot Very Rich Beef Stew

CROCK POT VERY RICH BEEF STEW This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Harrell Estate in Rockwall, Texas in 1987.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 pounds stew beef in 1/2 inch cubes shopping list
- 1 can tomato paste shopping list
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 cup red wine shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 4 small garlic cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or more to taste shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 2 tablespoons raisins shopping list
- 2 whole cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients in crock pot then cover and cook on low four hours.

I have a crock pot and never use it. It's about time to pull it out after this. It looks really good and the spices will give it a totally different taste from the standard. Thanks for posting!
