Great topping for pies, tarts coffee cakes etc.
I use this on Apple Betty and Hot Fruit deserts.. An old recipe I got while living in Germany.

Yup, a good post, I make mine similar to this. When mom made yeast coffee cakes she would take the batter out of the bowl and rub the sugar and flour into the bowl to get out all the dough that clung to it out then mixed in the rest of her Streusel topping.
