Fried Fish Braised In Soy Sauce And Chilli Oil

- 2 white flesh fish shopping list
- 5 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 small piece of ginger, minced shopping list
- 3 chilli, minced shopping list
- 1/2 onion, minced shopping list
- 1 tomato, peeled, minced shopping list
- 1 tbs of sesame oil shopping list
- 1 tbs of chilli oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of sugar shopping list
- 1 tbs of soy sauce shopping list
- pinch of salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 tbs of hot fermented bean paste (dou ban jiang) shopping list
- 3 cups of water shopping list
How to make it
- Deep fried fish until golden brown
- with sesame oil and chilli oil saute garlic, ginger and chilli until fragant add sugar until caramelize but not browned add soy sauce, dou ban jiang, keep stirring until fragant add onion, stirr until onion is soft, add tomato, stirr well add salt and pepper
- add water, fish, with medium heat cook until the water reduces and the fish absorbs all the flavor, serve
