How to make it

  • In food processor, combine shrimp, Old Bay seasoning, paprika, garlic and 1 stick butter. Process until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
  • Dredge scallops in flour. Shake off excess flour.
  • In large skillet, saute scallops in 1 tablespoon butter until browned on both sides. Remove and keep warm.
  • Deglaze pan with wine and shrimp-butter mixture.
  • Add snow pea pod and bell peppers to skillet. Cover and steam just until tender-crisp.
  • Divide vegetables between 4 dinner plates.
  • Arrange scallops on top of vegetables. Spoon any remaining pan juices over scallops.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and green onions.
