How to make it

  • boil chicken until it pulls from the bone, then shred or chop into pieces
  • run the water the chicken was cooked in through a strainer to remove all fat pieces
  • add canned chicken broth if needed
  • add cream of mushroom soup, sausage, chicken and all other ingredients EXCEPT potatoes
  • simmer on low heat for about 2 hours
  • add potatoes about 30-40 minutes before serving

    Recipe sounds wonderful but if I make it I will have to leave out the sauerkraut as I have never liked it. Love cabbage though.
