How to make it

  • Grease a 9x13 pan and sprinkle pecans evenly in bottom.
  • Make 12 "walnut-sized" balls of dough and place on top of nuts.
  • Combine last 4 ingredients in small saucepan and bring to boil, boiling 2 minutes.
  • Pour pudding mixture evenly over dough, be sure to cover each ball of dough.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • Remove from fridge and set out for 1-1/2 to 2 hours before baking.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Cool slightly before serving, hot sugar! Makes 12 servings
