After hunting around hopelessly for matcha tea, I finally gave up and substituted with spice chai tea. And I must say... deeee-lish! The flavor reminded me of spice cake from around the holidays. I'm sure the flavor is very different than if using matcha tea, but the substitution still makes an amazing cake. I substituted w/ the exact measurements and ran the chai tea thru my mini-blender to grind it into a finer powder. I enjoyed making it and especially eating it!
