Hamburger Cupcakes Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Brown hamburger, drain.
  • Mix soup, onions, egg, cheese, bread crumbs.
  • Cut crusts off of bread
  • Place buttered side down in muffin tin.
  • Fill pretty full with meat mixture.
  • Bake 40 minutes

    Oh these were good! I'm going to try a variation on this... I have those lovely expensive individual cake tins with the fancy designs that I never use, so I'm going to mix the cheese into the hamburger mixture, line the molds with the bread soaked in a bit of egg mixture and when they're baked (a bit longer I'm sure) I'll flip them onto the plate bread side up, and drizzle with a thin beef & red wine sauce... I'll let ya'll know how that turns out. Wish me luck!

    Has anyone frozen these for later? If so, when reheating did you use the oven or the microwave? Did the crust keep it's texture if you microwaved them to reheat?

    I tell ya what I make these when we go to parties and the host or hostess always hopes there are extras so they don't have to cook the next day lol. Great as something to take to a family during grieving, new baby, sick cook, ect.
