How to make it

  • Buy Bulk Chicken when it's on sale!
  • Season with Seasoned Salt, Parsley and Lemon Pepper.
  • Place in a large oven proof pot.
  • Add a little water; Cover.
  • Heat on 325 for about an hour, then reduce heat to 225
  • Cook until tender
  • (approx 2 hours-depending on how much you are cooking)
  • Do not over cook
  • When done discard juices, cool, Shred or cut into pieces
  • Place in ziploc bags in desired amounts for recipes.

    What a great short cut idea!, but please don't discard the juice. When I boil chicken and have juice I strain it then pour it into quart size freezer bags and freeze it for use in recipes that call for broth or use it when making soup. Great post, thanks
