Sourdough pie crust recipe makes two 9-inch single crusts or one 9-inch double crust.

Ingredients
  • 1- 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cold lard
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter

Directions
  1. Combine flour, salt and baking soda
  2. Cut in lard until resembles coarse crumbs
  3. Pour in sourdough starter
  4. Mix until flour is moistened and leaves the side of the bowl
  5. Turn onto lightly floured surface, knead lightly
  6. Roll out as desired
