Ingredients
  • 1 package of bow tie pasta
  • 1 tablespoone of butter ( I use "I can't believe it's not butter )
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 cup of fresh garlic cloves sliced
  • 1 package of freshly sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of sherry
  • 1/2 can of chicken broth

Directions
  1. Bring large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 min or until all dente; drain.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the chicken until no longer pink.
  5. Transfer chicken to a cutting board and thinly slice, set it aside.
  6. Saute garlic until tender and translucent.
  7. Add mushrooms, and gradually stir in cream, pepper, sherry, and chicken broth.
  8. Cook, stirring constantly, for 7 - 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
  9. Stir in the chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Toss with cooked pasta until evenly coated.
  11. Enjoy!
