Ingredients

1 pound lean ground round

1 package taco seasoning

1 large bunch romaine

4 tomatoes

3 green onions chopped

8 ounces grated American cheese

1 jar chunky salsa

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 bag tortilla chips

Directions

Brown hamburger meat and drain well.

Stir in taco seasoning until well combined.

Combine tomatoes, onions cheese, salsa and mayonnaise until creamy.

Make the salad by layering the lettuce, hamburger mixture, mayonnaise mixture and chips.

Eat right away to avoid the chips getting soggy.

I make a taco salad similar to this. Not quite as "fancy" though but the whole family loves it. My hubby likes taking it for his lunch at work.
