Ingredients

1 cup Crisco

1 stick margarine

3 cups sugar

3 mashed bananas

3 tablespoons milk

5 whole eggs

3 cups plain flour

1-teaspoon baking powder

1 pinch salt

1-tablespoon vanilla

Directions

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt three times and set aside. Cream Crisco, butter, vanilla, and sugar for 5 minutes. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour, bananas, and milk (alternately). Mix well. Bake in large tube pan for 11/4 to 11/2 hours at 300 F
