How to make it

  • Preheat your oven to 425 degrees
  • Wash the potatoes and cut into fry-size pieces (this depends on what you view as a fry size, feel free to use your judgement)
  • In a large pot, put in your potatoe slices and cover with water
  • Bring to a boil and cook until almost fork tender (time will vary depending on sizes and amount)
  • Drain your potatoes and lay out evenly on a greased baking sheet
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the potatoes get a nice brown on top
  • Flip over the potatoes and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until that side gets browned
  • Sprinkle with salt immediately after removing from the oven
