How to make it

  • lightly grease a 3 3/4 - cup ovenproof dish
  • place milk in a small saucepan.Break chocolate into pieces and add to milk
  • heat gently ,stirring until the chocolate melts .Let cool slightly. Stir in the vanilla essence
  • beat together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  • sift flour and cocoa together
  • add to the sugar and butter mixture as well as the chocolate milk , beat until smooth
  • pour into prepared dish
  • to make the sauce, mix together the cocoa and sugar with a little of the boiling water to make a paste , add rest of water
  • pour sauce over the pudding without mixing it into the pudding
  • place dish on cookie sheet and bake in a preheated oven@350*F for 40 mins
  • or until springy to the touch
  • let stand for 5 mins dust with a little confectioners sugar
  • ENJOY ON A COLD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
  • for a mocha sauce add 1 tsp instant coffee to sauce
