Pretzel Fried Perch
From shelleybeanz73 16 years agoIngredients
- 4 - 5 perch fillets shopping list
- 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp pepper shopping list
- 2 tsp Lawry's shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 cup crushed pretzels shopping list
- oil or butter to fry in. shopping list
How to make it
- Place oil or butter in skillet and set to low-med heat to get good and warm while preparing your fish. Warm oil makes them crispy.
- Mix seasonings and flour in freezer bag, set aside.
- Beat eggs in bowl, set aside.
- Crush pretzels, place on plate.
- Take a fillet, place in bag, coat well with flour.
- Then place it in egg, covering well.
- Then roll in crushed pretzels.
- Place in already warm oil/butter.
- Repeat with other fillets.
- Cook over medium heat, turning once, until golden brown (12-15 min), or until fish flakes easily with fork.
- I served this with a veggie fried rice and a cucumber, tomato and onion salad, it was great.
- ENJOY! :o)
